  St. Columba's Church is the friendliest church I have ever attended. I am a member here and am so grateful every Sunday to hear the Gospel preached and applied to our lives. I encourage anyone to visit St. Columba's when you are in Big Bear. You will feel welcome-all Baptized Christians of any denomination are welcome to receive communion in the Episcopal Church.

  When I moved to Big Bear more then a decade ago, I went to the church associated with the religion I had practiced all my life. I was very disappointed by the cold reception I received. Then a good friend suggested I give St. Columba's Episcopal Church a try. What a difference! I immediately felt welcome and comfortable by everyone I met. It was the type of church I always hoped to find. Today, I am very active. Sunday services are a highlight of my week.
